Dear families and friends,

Welcome to Johnson — Where Wildcats Lead, Learn, and Succeed!

I am both honored and excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of Dr. Joseph E. Johnson School. With deep gratitude, I look forward to leading the Johnson Elementary School community into a future grounded in academic excellence, inclusion, collaboration, and collective success. As an instructional leader, my mission is to create a school culture devoted to measurable success for all and increased student outcomes. This year, I am especially focused on the power of partnership. At Johnson, we believe that student success is a shared responsibility between the school and home.

When families and educators work together, our scholars are held to high expectations and given the structure and support they need to succeed.

I bring over 25 years of experience from Georgia in uplifting and transforming schools, along with a deep commitment to supporting our students, staff, and families. One of the initiatives I am most excited about is our Parent Council. This council will provide families with a space to share their voices, ideas, and feedback while also keeping me accountable as your school leader. Together, we will ensure that the decisions we make truly reflect the needs of our students and families.

Thank you for your trust and support and for being such an important part of Team Red Clay/Johnson Elementary. I am confident this will be an amazing school year, filled with growth, success, and memorable experiences for all our students.
